Dieter Semmelmann founded Semmel Concerts in 1991. Since the beginning of his partnership in 2000 with Eventim, the largest ticket service provider in Europe, the company has earned a place at the forefront of national and international live entertainment. Every year, the company organises more than 1,500 events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, attracting more than five million visitors. Semmel Concerts has won the Live Entertainment Award (LEA) many times, including Promoter of the Year 2016. Dieter Semmelmann is the company’s managing partner. He leads a team of 150 entertainment professionals, working from offices in eight German cities.
