ABOUT US
Semmel Exhibitions is a division of Semmel Concerts, the German live entertainment producer. We create exhibitions that travel to venues around the world, and present experiences in our own venues in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. We are part of EVENTIM LIVE, Europe’s leading ticketing and live entertainment company, and are embedded in a strong international network of museums, science centres, cultural venues, and the creative industries. We host a convention for producers and hosts of touring experiences (which began in 2012 as The Touring Exhibitions Meeting and has since expanded its scope and rebranded as TEEM: The Experience Economy Meeting), and conduct special exhibition-centered programing as part of the International Live Music Conference/ILMC.
More than one million visitors have attended our Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes exhibition, since its launch in 2018, across venues such as Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, TELUS World of Science in Edmonton, the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, and the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
More than 7 million visitors across the globe have seen our recreation of the tomb of the Egyptian boy king Tutankhamun in our exhibitions Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures and The Discovery of King Tut an exhibition concept with three units currently touring around the world.
We have partnered with The Walt Disney Company to develop an exhibition celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary, which will premiere at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia in February 2023.
Thank you for visiting, and please enjoy your time with us!
